When Murphy and El Roacho are pursuing Puck, they find themselves stuck in the desert. Little by little, thirst begins to gnaw at them. Exhausted, they begin to see mirages… First a bottle of water appears before their eyes. But it turns out to be a Pester. Then they are relieved to see a drink distributor only to discover that it is Ralph!
Murphy develops a cloning machine and creates a terrific clone of himself. Murphy’s clone is supposed to help him capture Puck… the logic being two Murphy’s are better than one. However the Murphy clone soon turns out to be a disappointment. Not only is the clone cross-eyed and seems a bit idiotic, but worst of all he is disobedient…
Murphy makes fun of Clint who is completely terrorized by a scrawny Pester. Later, by a strange fluke, Clint captures Puck. Holding a grudge, he has no intention of handing over Puck to Murphy. So Puck develops a system that allows him to control a Pester from a distance. Given Clint’s aversion for these little critters, this should work like a charm, but as per usual something goes terribly wrong when he tries to get it to function.
