Thrilled and excited, MONK wakes up his three friends (who aren't so thrilled) in the middle of the night and leads them into the yard. He proudly shows them the rocket he's made. MONK has decided to unhook the moon for the 'dog of his dreams', KIMMY. But nothing goes as planned... Night after night, to the irritation of his friends who keep getting woken up, MONK suffers one failure after another: the rocket doesn't take off, but it does scorch everything on the ground, including the dogs: the rocket crashes a few seconds after takeoff: the rocket ejects MONK and disappears into space... MONK gets totally fatched... But wait a second, it's a miracle! He finally manages to take off for the moon, wearing a big smile. He's about to unhook it, but the moon wants no part of it and gives MONK a big slap in the face, sending him crashing down onto his house.
MONK invites KIMMY for a candlelit 'raclette' dinner. KIMMY arrives along with her cat SUSHI. She's in rapture over a photo of MONK's parents. When he plugs in the raclette grill, MONK gets a shock due to the huge power surge. He passes out and goes on a strange trip into the fourth dimension... In his delirium, he sees image after image: himself as a baby: DING and KIMMY married, with a baby: him and KIMMY married, but the baby is... SUSHI!!! In his delirium, MONK gets totally fatched and comes back to reality. Overjoyed, he starts to dance gleefully but gets his paws caught in the raclette cord and is once again the victim of a power surge.
There's a new kid on the block, which peaks MONK's natural curiosity. He investigates and finds himself face-to-face with his new neighbor, BUBULL, a pit-bull who's not too easy on the eyes. MONK gets scared and panics, but BUBULL's looks are deceiving. He's actually very sweet and gentle. A series of misunderstandings follow where MONK is convinced that BUBULL is a bloodthirsty killer, as BULBULL pursues his favorite pastime: sewing. Summoning up his courage, MONK decides to find out for sure and gets totally fatched alerting BUBULL. MONK finishes the evening inside a garbage can, still convinced that BUBULL is out to get him...
