One day an odd flying saucer lands on the planet. A strange puddle of pink water trickles from the machine. It’s a living creature known as a symbiote. It’s goal is clear: capture Puck. This alien creature has the ability to “possess” the members of living creatures and introduce them into its body. The symbiote soon takes possession of Murphy’s arms and directs him like a marionette in pursuit of Puck. At first delighted by this unexpected help, Murphy soon gets tired of being mistreated by this alien who manipulates him in a less than gentle manner!
Murphy implants some metal chips into the Pesters’ heads that will make them obey all his commands. The operation seems to be a success at first. Upon Murphy’s command, the servile Pesters chase Puck. But after an accident, the chips have been jostled. The little pesky Pesters suddenly have a brilliant spark in their eyes and change their behavior.
